The site felt secure while I was browsing, which I always notice, especially when entering payment info. Checkout was straightforward too, no weird extra steps or confusing screens, just a quick and easy process.

We had a fun time walking around the zoo and seeing the animals, but the food was disappointing. It tasted old, like it had been sitting around for a while, and it was way too expensive for what it was. The fries were cold too, which was annoying because the food already didn’t feel fresh. I really liked the zoo itself, but the food being old-tasting, overpriced, and cold definitely took away from the experience.

We just went recently, and my main takeaway is how confusing the online map was. The zoo itself was nice and we enjoyed seeing the animals, but the signs didn’t really match what we were looking at on our phones. We ended up walking in circles a few times, which was annoying in the moment. Maybe it was just a recent issue, but it definitely made the visit feel more stressful than it should’ve been.

"A bit hit-or-miss, but still worth a look"
I noticed a clear pattern as I walked through: the more updated exhibits were genuinely interesting and easy to get into, while a few of the older ones felt a little worn down or like they hadn’t been refreshed in a while. Overall, it was a decent visit, just kind of uneven depending on which section you’re in.

I’d say it’s a decent value for what you get. Nothing too surprising, and it mostly feels worth it, but the prices can start to add up after a while. Still, I think it’s probably a solid choice if you’re keeping an eye on what you’re spending...

We loved going to Wildlights in the winter, and Boo at the Zoo was a big hit with the kids. It's such an easy day out, and there's always something new to check out each season.

"Fun zoo day, but the waits were a bit much"
I had a good time at the Columbus Zoo overall, but the long waits definitely tested my patience. The food lines were slower than I expected, and a few attractions took a while too. Once we actually got to do things, it was fun and worth seeing, but I do wish everything moved a little faster. Personally, I’d still go back, just probably on a less busy day.

"I went to the Columbus Zoo…"
I went to the Columbus Zoo last weekend i was impressed with how clean everything was. The walkways, bathrooms, and food areas were all taken care of really well, even though it was crowded. I barely saw any trash around, which made a big difference. Compared to some other places I’ve been to, it just felt... Anyway, it made the whole day a lot more relaxing and enjoyable.

Bought our zoo tickets online and it was really simple. The email came through fast, which was nice because I always worry about that stuff, and then at the gate they just scanned them with no problem. We were already thinking about which animals to see first, so skipping the ticket line was a big plus. Nothing fancy, just worked like it was supposed to and saved us some time

"Pretty easy to use, but a little annoying too"
I used the Columbus Zoo website to look up tickets and basic info, and for the most part it was straightforward. The pages loaded fine, and the menus mostly made sense, so I wasn’t totally lost. At the same time, I kept thinking it was easy to use while also getting kind of annoyed by it, especially on my phone. Some of the text felt a little small, and a few things took more taps than I expected. Still, I found what I needed without too much trouble, so I’d say it worked fine, even if it wasn’t perfect.

"Pretty fair for a full day out"
I kind of expected the tickets to be overpriced like places usually do, but they were actually fair. We ended up getting a full day of fun out of it, so I can’t really complain.

I pulled up the Columbus Zoo site on my phone mainly to check the hours and ticket info, and it was quick. I didn’t have to hunt around much, which I appreciated. Oh, and the map stuff was useful too since I was trying to get a better idea of where things were. Overall it felt smooth, pages loaded fast, and I didn’t really run into any problems.

The food was okay, but it felt way overpriced for what you get. I don’t mind paying a bit more when the quality or portions match the price, but in this case it just didn’t feel fair.

The crowd situation wasn’t handled very well... It felt disorganized, and there were moments where nobody seemed to know where to go or what was happening? A little more planning and clearer direction would’ve made the whole experience a lot smoother.

"Bathrooms really need more attention"
I’m not trying to be overly picky, but the restrooms were rough when we visited. There was trash on the floor, the sinks looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and one of the stalls didn’t even have toilet paper. The zoo itself was fine, so it’s not like I’m just looking for something to complain about, but the bathroom situation definitely took away from the visit. Hopefully they check and clean them more often
